Mac Photos App Won't Close

Edit photos on your Mac

Question: Q: Photos app won't close, showing 'Closing the library.' I just got a MacBook for Christmas, I've been using OS X Yosemite and up until now everything has been working perfectly. I tried to import some photos from a recent trip I took, the photos would not import or even show any sign of progress so I cancelled the import. In my case, Photos App gets stuck when I delete photos from the Surface Pro 4 and OneDrive. I did the Reset, and managed to delete few photos, but when I attempted to delete some more, the app got stuck as previously. Terminating and restarting the app shows that the photos are deleted, though. I renewed my photoshop for 1 yr and when i tried opening the app it wont load. No error message comes up, it just says ' please wait for a moment'with the spinning circle and nothing loads. Prelis app lisrel mac. An unfunctional App Icon(with the black dot) stays in the Dock. I can start the App again, which leads in an additional Icon. When i run the command 'killall Dock' the multiple Dead Icons get reduced to one. It seems that mostly opengl using Apps are kept in the Dock after closing.
